Halo has been Microsoft’s flagship product since the launch of the original Xbox, and with the launch of Halo Infinite it promises to be more interesting than recent installments in the series. This could be a boon for those people who have upgraded their Xbox One console to an Xbox One X. We all know that Halo 5 was a bit disappointing for fans who were used to playing in single player mode. Halo Infinite is touted to remove this disappointment and bring visible improvements over the previous versions. If rumors are true, Halo Infinite is supposed to pick up from the third installment of the “Reclaimer Saga”. What we hear is, Master Chief along with his allies will be resisting the new regime, ultimately restoring the freedom of the humans as well as aliens. Halo Infinite makes use of the Slipspace Engine which makes the visuals look much more real.
As expected and confirmed from the trailer, Halo Infinite successfully sets the platform for another series of conflicts on a Halo Ring world. The trailer showcases exotic shots of landscapes with the presence of pre-historic animals, which gives the impression that the game is set in the past. The trailer also provides a glimpse of the helmet of the Master Chief. The helmet has a chip in the back, which makes us believe that this could be the new way of implementation of artificial Intelligence in the game. Halo Infinite will include split screen co-op multi-player. This feature was removed in Halo 5, a decision met with heavy criticism. Halo Infinite is rumored to be released in late 2018 or early 2019. This is only a speculation based on the pattern of release dates for the previous editions. At this moment, the details are limited and as the game is still under development.
