It has been around two years since Pokémon Go has been launched, and users have been waiting for developers to roll out new updates for the game. Finally, the wait is over. These updates will have exciting new features. One of the new updates, which has been already released, enables Pokémon Go’s Trading and Friend systems. As of now, the trading is restricted for users who have reached a certain level. This was one of the most sought-after feature that has been missing from the game since its release. With the newer update users will be able to use Pokémon trading. This was something which was confirmed in E3 2018, by Niantic.
As per the sources based in Niantic, once this new feature is installed, gamers will be able to trade Pokémon with each other. This feature will be officially explained in Pokemon Go Fest 2018, that begins on July 14 in Chicago. Apart from the trading feature, the game will also get a robust friends system. It is believed that both of these features will be inter-related to each other. There is another surprise as well. Soon, players who are playing Pokemon go will be able to send friend request to the other players. This will be done with the help of friend codes. Friend codes will be all numeric lengthy string. This will be something similar to codes that are used on the Nintendo consoles. So, basically if a player has got the friend code of another player, he can send friend request to that player directly using that code. Even though this feature looks quite interesting, it comes with a limitation. One can have only 200 friends in their friend list. An expanded friends space can be bought additionally with in game currency, in case you want to add more than 200 friends.
