Long Distance Grenade Lob Victory Royale
With the new season of Fortnite causing quite a stir, the updates are rolling in for players. Fortnite’s 5.01 Patch Note dropped only a few hours ago, so everything is relatively new for players and people are still finding their way. The changes came in automatically, with no downtime, so players are already discovering the differences. Fortnite made the changes public through their official Twitter account stating, “New weapons arrive to both game mode” earlier today. The changes were available on the official Epic Games website, including the Typewriter assault rifle which is the second weapon that has been added.
The new update sees a submachine gun as its latest addition for up close fights. The submachine gun is being advertised as the star of the show and is the first thing that appears on screen when Fortnite players log in to play Battle Royale. It can be used for 19-21 base damage and is available in common, uncommon and rare varieties. The assault rifle is another addition that is meant to be used to clear up husk encampment sites which can help players move forward in the game overall.
Epic Games included a statement that said it has also increased mobility and speed. Also being heavily advertised by Fortnite is a promotion for 50% off of Save the World, a deal that is bringing in quite a bit of attention. This offer will be valid as of today, the 17th of July, up until the 30th of this month. Players have already begun taking advantage of this since it is essentially a saving of $10, bringing the cost down from $29.99 to $19.99. A lot of players are also depending on this discount to get more V-bucks since it is an easy way to add some to the collection. Battle Royale only gives away V-bucks once players buy the Battle Pass and then increase their rank, which is not really worth it for the amount of V-bucks received. Since Save the World is a better bet, if your aim is to increase your V-bucks, many players are buying the game just for that perk.
