EA Announces “Anthem” at E3 2018

 

 

EA made an announcement at E3 about a game titled “Anthem”, a new shared world shooter. The game is slated for a February 22, 2019 release date. “Anthem” is a sci-fi, role-playing, action based game where each player participates in a real-world role. Players will wear highly customizable suits called “Javelins”. We are talking about high-tech suits that have a specific set of functionalities.

“Anthem” will be developed by Bioware, an acquisition of EA games. The game will be launched in two separate editions, the “Standard” Edition and “The Legion of Dawn” Edition. If you pre-order the “Standard” Edition then you are entitled to a host of bonuses. These bonuses will include VIP demo access, a Legendary Weapon and “The Legion of Dawn” Ranger Javelin Armor. If you pre-order “The Legion of Dawn” Edition you will recieve the complete “Legion of Dawn” Armor set for all Javelins along with a Ranger Javelin Gear Attachment. This edition also comes with a digital soundtrack that can be obtained by pre-ordering the game. Apart from the exclusive bonuses, all of the bonuses that are available in the “Standard” Edition are included in the “Legion of Dawn” Edition as well. If you decide to pre-order from BestBuy, you are also eligible for a $10 reward certificate, along with all of the other bonuses that have been mentioned.

The “Standard” Edition will be priced at $60 and “The Legion of Dawn” Edition at $80. If you have EA access, you can get the “Standard” Edition at $53 and “The Legion of Dawn” Edition at $72 from the Microsoft Store. The “Standard” Edition will be playable on PS4, Xbox One and PC while “The Legion of Dawn” Edition will be supported on PS4 and Xbox One.
